walk, don't run this ain't no time to be having fun and i'm not done it takes as long as it takes to fix all the mess that i make and mend all that i break all the yarns, that i spun are all now coming undone i see another sun it takes as long as it takes to fix all the mess that i make and mend all that i break

i'm on the mend but we get closer after every day we spend lying to each other, so we can just stay friends no one say when i wanna distract you, so you can help distract me we're on a fence and fall off either way and need to be repaired the years have made us frightened, made us both just scared no one say when just take a guess or even better yet dig deeper and confess but always cautious never want to cause offence no one say when i wanna distract you, so you can help distract me i wanna distract you, so you can help distract me, so i can help distract you, so you can help distract me...

I Always Hid 03:51
a fresh start it broke my heart i fell into a hole i'd dug myself my stage persona, the fragile loner caught up with me & affected my health but i always hid i always hid the white lies were cut and dry evidence of fear in a damaged soul my magic beans, those vivid dreams all one by one turned into trolls but i always hid i always hid the quiet night, the one man fight a lengthy monologue in an empty home the twilight sky, where i learnt to fly got darker and turned me into stone i always hid i always hid
4.
The Gale 02:24
memories float in on a breeze but i'm currently caught in a gale i try to sleep and get blown off my feet i'm not sure that i'm very well a few hours ago was out drinking somewhere i didn't know so i stopped and followed myself home got lost on the way like i seemed to do every other day the journey was clumsy and slow i'm never alone haunted by everyone that i've ever known the casualty list will grow and grow and over the years the illusions hopefully will disappear but i'm banned from casting the first stone the pouring rain derailed my train of thought and my head starts to swell and open my eyes to look up at the sky as i wait for my sunny spell
